Greetings from the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) at 51²Ö¿â,
We are dedicated to providing all constituent groups - students, faculty, staff, applicants, donors, parents, alumni, and friends of Barry with the best IT experience possible.
It is our strong belief that the best IT tools are those that help to support and advance the university's strategic initiatives and mission. IT should support the way people live and work while improving access to technology resources for life-long learning, growth and development. This guiding principle keeps us focused on improving service levels to support the teaching, learning, research and administrative goals and objectives of all faculty, students and staff.
We want to keep the Barry community on the leading edge of technology, but only if it adds value. Whether through your interaction with our staff or the technology you use, we will do our best to ensure that your information is secure, our communications are transparent, and our processes serve your best interests.
The Department is committed to the ongoing professional and intellectual development of the Barry community through our dedicated staff and the units they work:
- Administrative Information Systems (AIS)
- Client Services
- Strategic Initiatives and Digital Strategies Administration
- Infrastructure & Operations
- Workplace and Instructional Technologies Services (wITs)
Continuous evaluation and self-assessment are always important to us, so we welcome any feedback you might have. Please visit the Barry CARES page to leave your comments, or email me directly.
Sincerely,
Yvette Brown
Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Chief Information Officer
