Biography

I had the privilege of graduating with a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from 51²Ö¿â after almost 30 years of professional experience. “You grow the most in your areas of greatest strength," and this program truly helped me do just that. I was initially unsure about returning to higher education, but the program’s innovative, diverse approach catered to seasoned professionals like me.

Barry’s MSHRD program nurtured my love for learning and deepened my understanding of human interaction in organizations, providing me with invaluable knowledge that I now apply in my professional practice. It helped me strengthen my facilitation skills and prepared me to analyze, implement, and evaluate performance improvement initiatives at both the individual and organizational levels. What truly sets this program apart is the community.

The relationships I forged, and the unwavering support from professors and classmates made it possible for me to complete the program. One of the best days of my life was graduation day. After two years of virtual interactions, meeting my classmates in person and feeling their cheers and support as I walked across the stage to receive my diploma made the moment unforgettable.

Barry’s program stands out for its diversity of knowledge and experience, which fosters an environment where everyone thrives. As I move forward in my career and pursue my PhD, I am excited to pay it forward by helping future HR leaders grow in their areas of greatest strength.
