Admission Requirements

51²Ö¿â accepts applications on a rolling basis. However, it is in your best interest to apply as soon as possible. Please note that general admission to 51²Ö¿â does not guarantee acceptance into allÌýacademic majors. Consult the academic requirements for your academic area of interest.

Applicants who have at least 12 college level credits from a regionally accredited college or university would be considered a transfer applicant. (High school students with advanced placement and college credits should apply as first-year applicants.)

Transfer applicants are required to complete the following application process:

  • SubmitÌýofficial transcriptsÌýfrom all post-secondary institutions. For your convenience, you mayÌýÌýand submit them to us electronically. When you upload your scores or credentials, you will be able to receive a provisional admission decision from us as soon as possible and your eligibility for a 51²Ö¿â Scholarship may be determined.

(Documents uploaded are considered "unofficial". Please note that college coursework cannot be evaluated for transfer untilÌýofficial transcriptsÌýhave been received.)

Submit CLEP or AP score reports, if applicable

Once admitted, a full evaluation of allÌýfinal official transcriptsÌýwill be completed and a copy of the results will be sent to you by mail. It is recommended that you then meet with an academic advisor from the major that you have been admitted to so that you may discuss which credits will be applied towards a 51²Ö¿â degree.
