The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program takes six* semesters to complete following acceptance after meeting all admission requirements. Upon admission to the program, you will study a contemporary curriculum that is designed to prepare you for professional nursing practice.

This program is grounded in community based education with educational opportunities that provide a variety of healthcare delivery experiences.

    Becoming a Licensed Registered Nurse

    Once you have completed the program, you will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). Licensure obtained after passing the exam, along with other stipulations (see RN Licensure) allows you to practice nursing in any state throughout the United States.

Baptist Health South Florida Baptist Bond Scholars Program

Each Spring and Fall Semester, 30 nursing students have the potential to be awarded this scholarship while enrolled at 51²Ö¿â

This scholarship award is dependent upon acceptance into the nursing program and acceptance into the Baptist Health Scholars program.

Acceptance into the Traditional BSN program requires that applicants are well rounded individuals. From bio-medical ethics to the arts, future nursing students need to complete the courses before entering the program.

If you’re a full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate, you may qualify for our merit-based scholarships with awards up to $17,000, based on your cumulative GPA and standardized test scores. Scholarships are available for freshmen (including test optional), transfers, international, DACA, and Dreamer applicants. Using your admissions application, we automatically determine your eligibility.

More than 90% of our students receives some form of financial assistance. Apply to see if you qualify for a full array of federal and state financial aid programs. Nursing Programs Accreditation

The College of Health and Wellness maintains accreditation for its undergraduate (BSN), master's (MSN), post-graduate certificates (ARNP), and doctoral (DNP) nursing programs through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

The master's and DNP in Nurse Anesthesia programs are accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
