Our students can choose one of three routes to become a Histotechnologist
- BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences with a Specialization in Histotechnology
- Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Histotechnology (10-month program)
- MS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences with a Specialization in Histotechnology (12-month program)
This degree/certificate program is designed to be as flexible and as convenient as possible to provide a schedule that allows students to continue maintaining personal and professional responsibilities while earning their degree/certificate in Histotechnology.
The Histotechnology specialization provides intense training in histotechnology through a combination of lectures, hands-on laboratory experience and clinical internships.
The mission of the Clinical Laboratory Science program with Specialization in Histotechnology is to provide our graduates with skills that will allow them to apply scientific knowledge and collaborate with others using verbal, written and technological skills inherent to health care. We provide students the tools they need to engage in professional practices that adhere to the concepts of integrity, ethics, life-long learning and patient advocacy.
