Portability

51²Ö¿â's program is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). In addition to passing all state certification requirements, all students must take the national certification exam prior to graduation. Obtaining this national certification will enable you to practice in other states without undergoing recertification. (Depending on your employer, national certification may also qualify you for a higher salary range.)

The program's degree requirements typically exceed those of other countries, which usually makes it easier to practice internationally.

Accommodating Working Professionals

All courses in the School Psychology program are offered in the evening to accommodate working professionals. You can choose between the full-time and part-time program options, enabling you to balance your academic responsibilities with the rest of your busy life.

Field placement and internship courses, which occur near the completion of training, require daytime participation.
