The Curriculum and Instruction program faculty is strongly committed to the integration of theory, research, policy, and practice throughout the program. You are exposed to multiple educational perspectives on issues of design and policy, allowing you to assume a leadership role in curriculum development, design, implementation, and evaluation.
The faculty mentors you in your professional development and scholarship, which are critical for positions in higher education and curriculum leadership. Full-time faculty will know you by name and you will not be number in your doctoral courses.
Doctoral students who work full-time can complete the coursework for the program in a 3-year time frame by enrolling in two classes per semester.
