The Pre-Physician Assistant Student Association (Pre-PASA) provides students with quality information, social activities and volunteering opportunities that will prepare its members for a smooth transition from undergraduate school to any graduate physician assistant program.
During a typical academic school year, several volunteering opportunities are organized and run by club members (e.g. “adopt-a-floor” at nearby hospitals, fundraising walks, senior citizen center outreach, etc.). Furthermore, the club invites speakers to make presentations about PA graduate programs, the PA profession or related topics. Social and service activities are sometimes organized jointly with other Barry student associations such as the Beta Beta Beta Honor Society or the American Medical Student Association (AMSA).
